Latine Heritage Month Celebration

Latine (Hispanic) Heritage Month is our flagship celebration and we're excited to share this kick-off event with our community. We've partnered with the Loveland Public Library to host four hours of dance, music and spoken word. Food trucks and vendor/community resource booths will also be part of the celebration for all to enjoy.

Selena Movie Night

Selena Quintanilla broke down barriers, bridged gaps and became a beloved icon within the Latine/Hispanic community. 2022 marks the 25-year anniversary of the movie's release, which makes this all the more special. This is the night to wear your favorite Selena t-shirt, bustier, or purple jumpsuit. We may have a prize or two for our favorite outfits.

Loteria Night (Mexican Bingo)

Join us in the tap room for Mexican game night. We'll be playing Loteria and will have some prizes for the winners. This was a lot of fun last year!

Sugar Skull Activity Kits

Join us in the tap room and make your own sugar skull with a free kit from Heart and Sol

Sugar Skull Workshop

In this workshop, we will provide each participant with pre-made sugar skulls. Learn more about these traditional sculptures as you use frosting and other materials to decorate them and then display one in our com-munity Nicho. Make two skulls- one to take home and another to leave as an offering.

Day of the Dead Altar Workshop

Join the Beet Education Center staff to make candle holders, frames, paper flowers, food sculptures and much more. Everything will be used for a community altar. 

LIVE Day of the Dead Community Altar Creation

We will be building a community Dia de los Muertos Altar live in the tap room and going over the significance of each element. Everyone is encouraged to bring items/photos to be added to the altar.
